17 institutions and several interesting team names
In Part 1, the author more or less acknowledges his attending UNC Chapel Hill based on the school newspaper (The Daily Tar Heel) in which he was looking for jobs. This took place in Chapter 2 (“Don’t Wing It”). Given the footprints with the darkened heels near the “CAR NORTH” on the Appalachian Footpath Box map, I wanted to see if there were any other UNC ties.
