In Chapter 8, our attention is drawn to the niece of artist Charles Loloma, one of two people Loloma is said to have mentored. The second mentee is never named. What I want to understand is if calling out of one two mentees was just to elevate how special the opportunity was for his niece or perhaps there is something to understand about the unnamed mentee.
