In many of the online communities I pay attention to, I have noticed the sharing of positions of how “purely” the clues and information have been organized in the books. That is, some might say everything you need is contained in the book and no outside research is necessary. Others suggest that the author intended for things to be researched and his alluding to everything being in the book is that the starting points of clues are in the book (and not hidden in a website or an interview or some other primary source). And perhaps a small minority believe that there are, or will be, key clues provided in spaces outside of the main book (for example, the children’s Picture Book or some of the collaborator’s spaces such as Seth Gould or Arkenstone).
