In Forrest Fenn’s memoir, The Thrill of the Chase, he introduces his poem by sharing about where his treasure was hidden: “It’s in the mountains somewhere north of Santa Fe.” The author of There’s Treasure Inside uses similar language in the narrative for his Forrest Fenn-inspired treasure box, and I wonder if this language is what may have this box in Colorado.
