Time well-wasted

I previously shared my fabrication experiment where I bought some small cuts of metal and 3D printed some additional plastic parts to make a replica Appalachian Footpath box (and using replica is a stretch). The craftsmanship (by me) isn’t super great but I had a lot of fun putting it together. I decided to try another design experiment: make a 1/2 scale version of the box I had just made (so 1/8th the size). Maybe I’ll do a giveaway!
