I know it appears that I am a little late to the game, but I have been holding off on exploring-vetting-validating the “Little Rock Pond” connection that online folks found a while ago. This includes some potential controversy around manipulation of open-access trail data. I have finally dived in, and I have some initial thoughts based on what I can piece together from various mapping outlets and of course from the detective work by whichever online sharers first identified the potential match.
