Joy's Serenade

Closing Poem

The book both opens and closes with a poem. In the beginning there is an “almost haiku” that was printed on the inside of the dust jacket of the physical book and as its own page in the Lion’s Share ebook. At the end is a 7 stanza poem called “Joy’s Serenade” that I don’t believe is explicitly referenced/acknowledged anywhere in the book. It kind of just is there.
