Real people or part of the clue set?

There were a lot of good ideas being surfaced and shared during a recent podcast team’s episode (linked here). One of the points that was raised by one of their listeners (or maybe it was something they saw in a different online community) was challenging the “reality” of the researchers. Whether or not these five researchers were actual people contracted to do a research gig was not something that I had even thought about, but now I am!
